Arsenal player ratings vs Chelsea:

Arsenal rounded up their US Tour with a thumping 4-0 victory of London rivals Chelsea, a result which saw them lift the Florida Cup hopefully the first of many trophies this year.

Arsenal thrashed Chelsea 4-0.

Arsenal started well, with the team in red taking control of the game and keeping the majority of the ball. And they were awarded for their efforts when a misplaced Chelsea pass led to Granit Xhaka who played a fine ball to Jesus who superbly chipped the onrushing Mendy and gave the Gunners the lead.

It wasn't long after till soon to be appointed Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard gave Arsenal 2-0 lead after a lovely ball played through by Gabriel Martinelli. Which gave Arsenal a comfortable 2-0 lead in 45 they dominated.

Bukayo Saka and Albert Sambi Lokonga wrapped up the thrashing with two easily finished goals with the latter being a lovely header which was the Belgian's first goal for the club.

Here are the Arsenal Player Ratings:

Aaron Ramsdale 7/10
Ramsdale faced a lot of critics towards the back end of last season but last night he looked back to his best. His distribution last night was like back in October when he first signed. Well earned clean sheet for Aaron as well.

Ben White 7/10

Feels like seeing Ben White play right back could become a regular occurance throughout the season. However another solid performance at right back for Benjamin. Nothing fancy just very solid. Showed when Sterling was forced to switch sides in the first half due to being so frustrated.

William Saliba 8/10
Another game and a near perfect 90 minutes once again for William Saliba. It's so cliché but he feels like a new signing, made Sterling, Werner, Mount and many more look very ordinary many times in the game. He looks like he's been in the side for years the way he's so composed and calm in his play, would be difficult not to start him against Crystal Palace on August 5th.
Gabriel and Saliba are forming a solid relationship.

Gabriel 7/10
Solid as usual, forming a good partnership with Saliba as well, made light work of the Chelsea attack.

Oleksandr Zinchenko 7/10
Zinchenko gave Arsenal fans a taste of what they can expect from the Ukrainian in the future. He started at left back but often drifted into midfield for periods of the game.

He had some nice moments in the 45 minutes he played, notable a bit of skill to jink past Sterling and crossfield pass which found Saka perfectly. Very solid first outing.

Zinchenko made a very solid start to his gunners career

Granit Xhaka 8/10
Another very solid performance from Granit, couple sloppy passes early on but once he showed how important he is again for our success this year.

Got a lovely assist for Jesus in the first goal where he stepped in front of his man and played a lovely ball into Jesus to dink the goalie.

He has his faults but Xhaka once again will be crucial for Arsenal next season again.

Thomas Partey 8/10

Another solid performance from Thomas once again reminding us the importance of him and Xhaka this year.

Helped the defence clean up many times and even though there was a couple sloppy passes he was very good throughout.

There is no doubt if Partey stays fit this season Arsenal will likely achieve there goals this season, he's that important.

Martin Ødegaard 9/10
Another top game by Arsenal soon to be appointed skipper. He ran the show at times, almost taking the mick out of out of Chelsea team.

Was awarded for his efforts will a brillantly taken goal where he guided Martinelli lovely ball into the bottom right corner. Big season ahead for Martin who will hope to increase his goal and assists output with the arrival of Gabriel Jesus.

Bukayo Saka 7/10
A threat throughout as usual, he was awarded with a goal for his efforts when  Granit Xhaka saved volley fell straight to him for him to tap in.

Vital Arsenal tie Saka down to a new deal with the winger only having 2 years left on his current deal.

Gabriel Martinelli 8/10
Was a bit dissapointed with Martinelli in Arsenal's first two US Tour games however this performance was a marked improvement.

The Brazilian was a threat throughout causing Reece James who is one of the best right backs in the league look very uncomfortable throughout the game.

He got a great assist for Ødegaard goal aswell where he found the Norwegian in a tight bit of space to slot home for the goal.
Saka and Martinelli caused constant issues for the Chelsea defence

Gabriel Jesus 9/10 (MOTM)

You'd be close to deluded if you weren't exicted from what you've seen from Jesus so far in his start to life as an Arsenal player

The Brazilian once again impressed with a goal but his constant pressing and skilful turns caused the Chelsea defence nightmares all game.

The 25 year old has settled into life at Arsenal like a duck to water. His goal was a touch of class a lovely finish. He showed us he offers us a lot more than just goals in all 4 of these pre-season games.

As there was so many subs I'll only rank the ones who made an impact.

Albert Sambi Lokonga 7/10
It's clear Arteta see Sambi as a long term project to eventually replace Partey as a 6 however in pre-season so far he's massively impressed as left sided midfielder playing further foward. It was the same in this game as Sambi scored his first Arsenal goal with a well placed header.

Sambi has so much potential it's clear to see and will eventually grow into that number 6 position, Europa will be huge for him this season like many players.

Eddie Nketiah 6/10
Eddie did well for the cameo he had. His strength has gone up another level this year.

It's been a perfect US Tour for Arsenal which would of raised the morale of the squad massively and given them lots of confindence going into the new season.

Arsenal have one more game before the start of the season which is the Emirates Cup game against Sevilla.
