Arsenal kicked off their pre season on Saturday with a 5-1 win against Ipswich Town of League One. Arsenal got off to a flying start thanks to Eddie Nketiah, wearing his new number 14 shirt he netted within the first 30 seconds, Eddie soon added to this with another two goals to complete a first half hat-trick, certainly Mikel Arteta will be hoping Eddie will continue this form with the imminent arrival of Gabriel Jesus to keep the Brazilian on his toes. Albert Sambi Lokonga and Folarin Balogun scored the two other goals the second and the fifth respectably. Arteta fielded two different teams for each half with the first being much stronger featuring the likes of Partey, Pepe and Ben White while the second half featured younger players such as Patino, Hutchinson and Matt Smith.
