Who will play against FC Nürnberg, is it on TV, Kick off time, will Jesus, Turner and Marquinhos make their debut?

Will Gabriel Jesus make his debut?

Arsenal continue their preparation for the start of the Premier League season 22/23 with their second pre-season match against Bundesliga 2 outfit FC Nürnberg which will round off Arsenal's 5 day long training camp in Germany. Arsenal will look to build on their 5-1 win against League One Ipswich Town on Saturday which kick started their pre-season campaign.

When is the match.

The match is on the 8th of July and will kick off at 4:30 P.M (UK Time), it will be played at Max-Morlock-Stadion which hosted World Cup games in the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Arsenal have never played FC Nürnberg before in their history however have an awful record in recent years when it comes to playing German teams, the Gunners have lost 5 of their 7 games against German teams coming at the hands Bayern, Koln and Frankfurt respectively.

Team News:

New signings Gabriel Jesus, Marquinhos and Matt Turner are all expected to make their debut as all three have made the trip, as for new signing Fabio Vieira we'll have to wait for him to make his debut as he has not made the trip to the Adidas HQ for the camp due to an injury precaution. Expect first team players like Emile Smith Rowe, Benjamin White and Gabriel Martinelli all to play aswell. As for Gabriel and Hector Bellerin their selection isn't confirmed yet and for Thomas Partey it's still very unclear what his situation is but will most likely miss out on Friday's game. Arsenal wonderkid Charlie Patino could be set for a start with the Ghanaian absence. Charlie Patino wasn't the only youngster who was called up, Salah Oulad M'hand, Lino Sousa and Reuell Walters were all chosen to travel aswell. Expect a mix of youngsters and first team players to feature in this game as Arteta's men build up to the US tour next week where all first team players are expected to be back.

Will the game be on TV?

Sadly the game won't be on TV, it is available for £5.99 on Arsenal.com. Quite expensive for a game this is nothing more than a friendly and this will be the cost of every Arsenal pre-season game this season. Arsenal will put out live minute by minute updates on their Twitter as usual, so if you don't want to fork out that £5.99 to watch a pre-season game you can still stay update.
